EVANGELICALS: Forgiven, not perfect

Print Article

Daniel Gressler, your letter on the Opinion page last Sunday was shameful! None of us are perfect — are you? What have you done in your life that is not “normal?” Hypocrite evangelicals? We are all hypocrites. We say one thing and do another, but “us hypocrite evangelicals” are forgiven by God when we acknowledge our wrongs. It’s as simple as that, and it’s so simple that many people don’t believe it. But God is not a liar and will never be. Give Him a try; you won’t be sorry.
