DEMOCRATS: Don’t follow Pelosi

Print Article

How sad to watch Democratic Party members wait for the green light before applauding for a 100-year-old war hero, a 4-year-old girl wanting a better education or a military family’s surprise when they were reunited with their father/husband. Yet that’s exactly what happened during President Trump’s recent State of the Union address. If Speaker Pelosi didn’t stand or applaud, Democrats in the Chamber didn’t dare too either.

It didn’t matter if Democratic senators believed higher wages for blue-collar workers was a good thing, or if Democratic members of Congress were happy to hear that millions more Americans now had jobs… They simply weren’t allowed to put their hands together for it. Nope, not unless Pelosi did first.

Same goes for ridding the world of terrorist leaders, securing better education for our kids, a stronger military or safer borders. Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope.

What’s truly ironic, though, is if the exact same SOTU speech had come out of a Democrat president’s mouth, Pelosi and her minions would be swinging from the rafters. Nancy Pelosi’s political beliefs are now crystal clear… none of those achievements are beneficial to Americans unless they’re provided by the Democratic Party. How twisted is that?
