Gov. Brad Little’s office provided The Press on Thursday with the name of a 14th applicant to fill a vacancy on the Dalton Gardens City Council.

Tyler Dreschel is also seeking appointment to one of the Dalton Gardens City Council seats now open following the March 12 election in which the mayor and two council members were recalled.

The other 13 applicants previously reported in The Press are Jay Barbieri, Carrie Chase, Harold Craft, Drew Dittman, Richard Epstein, Charlie Johnson, Patrick Leonard, Peggy Leonard, Aaron O’Brien, Vicki Rutherford, Gary Sonnen, Cheryl Stransky and Robert Wuest.

The governor will select and appoint one of the applicants to join the two remaining council members who survived the recall. With a quorum of three, the council members will then appoint another council member and a mayor.
