Kootenai County commissioners will hear an update Tuesday on potential locations for construction of a county building on the courthouse grounds.
Commissioners will meet at 11 a.m. in the board room on the third floor of the administration building, 451 N. Government Way.
Last month, commissioners received an update from Coeur d’Alene architect Scott Fischer of Architects West on a proposed four-story, 88,000-square-foot building expected to cost about $22 million.
As proposed, the new facility would require a footprint of about 20,000 square feet and would be erected either on the north side of the county campus or centrally located between the courthouse and justice buildings.
Plans at this point are conceptual and funding has not yet been identified, commissioners said. There is no timeline for construction.
