Signup extended for rec men's basketball league

COEUR d'ALENE - Local men's basketball teams have until Friday to register for the Coeur d'Alene Recreation Department's men's basketball league.

Sponsor and player fees are $550 per team. Signups will be accepted at the rec department. Teams will play an 11-game schedule.

Nachbaur to coach WHL team in annual Subway Super Series

CALGARY, Alberta - Spokane Chiefs head coach Don Nachbaur will be the head coach for both Team Western Hockey League games in the 2012 Subway Super Series Nov. 14 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Nov. 15 in Victoria, B.C.
