Post Falls Rotary plans
fundraiser golf tourney
POST FALLS - The Post Falls Rotary has scheduled its 20th annual fundraiser golf tournament for Friday, May 8 at Prairie Falls Golf Club, with signups at noon and a shotgut start at 1 p.m.
Proceeds will go toward local charities, nonprofits and college scholarships benefiting the North Idaho area.
Signup fee is $80 per person, and includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, prizes, drinks and food.

Ex-Viking Legel named to
NAIA All-American third team
University of Great Falls junior guard Erin Legel was named to the NAIA Division I women's basketball All-America third team.
Legel, who earned honorable mention last season, was an All-Frontier Conference first team selection and a three-time conference player of the week as the Lady Argonauts reached the NAIA national tournament for the first time in program history.
This marks the second All-America nod for Legel, the Coeur d'Alene High product who earned All-American honorable mention from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association last week.
Also, Legel was named to the NAIA national tournament all-tournament second team.
Legel averaged 17.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.0 steals for UGF which reached the Elite Eight at the NAIA tournament and finished the season 24-10.
