PREP WRESTLING: Lakeland, Post Falls move into top bracket

POST FALLS — Tournament host Post Falls went unbeaten with wins over Sandpoint and Rocky Mountain High of Meridian on Friday to advance to the Gold Bracket of the 21st annual River City Duals at The Arena.

Post Falls beat Sandpoint, then beat Rocky Mountain to advance. Lakeland also went unbeaten on the first day, beating Emmett and Medical Lake.

Coeur d’Alene and Timberlake went 1-1 to advance to the Silver Bracket.

Wrestling resumes today at 9 a.m., with the championship duals at 5:30 p.m.
