PREP WRESTLING: Norton takes two for St. Maries at Kellogg

KELLOGG — Gage Norton finished 2-0 at 152 pounds for St. Maries in matches featuring wrestlers from Kootenai, Lake City, Wallace, Sandpoint and Kellogg on Wednesday at Andrews Gymnasium.

Norton beat Solomon Crowley of Lake City by a 6-0 decision, then pinned Lucas Woods — also of Lake City — in two minutes.

St. Maries competes in the Orofino Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

MOSCOW — The match between the Hawks and Bears was postponed on Wednesday due to the Lakeland School District closing school due to slick roads.

No makeup date has been announced.
