The junior left fielder hit the first two home runs of her career and finished with seven RBIs, including a three-run shot to end the game as the Hawks defeated the Sandpoint Bulldogs 15-5 in five innings on Saturday to win the 4A Region 1 softball championship. “She’s been my solid,” Lakeland coach Colleen Bevacqua said. “We talked the other day ... ‘Erika, you’re due.’ She definitely knows when to turn it on; she’s a gamer.”
