Mallet, a junior from Coeur d’Alene High, vaulted 12 feet, 5 1/4 inches in the Mountain West Championships on May 11 in Clovis, Calif., finishing ninth in the event. The mark is a career best for Mallet, and a quarter inch short of cracking the top five in school history.

Story, a junior from Coeur d’Alene High, was fifth in the 800 meter run at the Big Sky Championships in Missoula, Mont., finishing in 2 minutes, 11.88 seconds.

Kara Story

Idaho track and field

Story, a junior from Coeur d’Alene High, was fourth in the 1,500 meter run, finishing in 4:32.96 at the Big Sky Championships in Missoula, Mont. Story was ranked 12th in the event prior to the race.

Kyler Little

Washington State track and field

Little, a senior from Lake City High, finished 19th in the 5,000 at the Pac-12 Championships in Tucson, Ariz., finishing in 14:39.35.
