Food drive, Santa photos at fire station today

COEUR d'ALENE - The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department will be hosting its annual Santa photo food drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Cherry Hill fire station.

Donations of nonperishable items will go to the Coeur d'Alene School district's food pantry program.

Donors can have a free family photo with Santa Claus in front of a fire engine.

The event kicks off the fire department's annual holiday food drive, which will continue Dec. 17-23 when firefighters drive Santa around town to collect canned food.
