A man was injured when he was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 90 on Monday.

According to the Idaho State Police, the driver of a semi tractor-trailer was westbound on I-90 when he lost control at milepost 16 about 12:30 p.m. and struck cement barriers.

The driver was setting up reflective triangles when he was hit by a 2005 Toyota Sienna driven by a 27-year-old woman from Pinehurst.

The driver was injured and was transported to a hospital by an ambulance. The semi was occupied by a 22-year-old man from Missouri, who was not hurt.

The right westbound lane of I-90 at milepost 16 was blocked for about four hours.

An investigation continues.
