Free job training offered for Basin Environmental Improvement Project

KELLOGG — The Basin Environmental Improvement Project Commission is hosting free job training in April for individuals looking to get into the industry.

Participants will earn a certification for work readiness, CPR/first aid, work zone flagging, hazardous waste operations and emergency response. 

The SuperJTI program is a training program provided by the Environmental Protection Agency to help area residents receive the training they need to be hired to work for companies working on projects within the Bunker Hill Superfund Site. 

Training sessions will be held Tuesday, April 2, Wednesday, April 3, Tuesday, April 9, Wednesday, April 10, Monday, April 15, and Tuesday, April 16 at Panhandle Health Shoshone County Office, 35 Wildcat Way, Suite A, Kellogg.
