Pull those crop tops out of the closet and frost those tips, because Sugar Ray and Smash Mouth are coming to the North Idaho State Fair this summer.

Fans will be taken along a most excellent '90s rewind at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 20 as two of the hottest bands of the Millennium era will rock the stage during the Party in the Dirt Concert Series. Tickets are now on sale.

"The fair is all about fun and bringing generations together to create memories," fair general manager Alexcia Jordan said Tuesday. "These two bands will do exactly that!"

Beyond sales of 10 million records, four top 10 songs, hundreds of millions of streams and millions of tickets sold, Sugar Ray — co-founded by Mark McGrath (vocals) and Rodney Sheppard (lead guitar) — embody the endless summer of popular music and culture. A few of Sugar Ray's top hits that still play on the radio are "Fly," "Every Morning," "Someday" and "When It's Over."

"Lemonade and Brownies," released in 1994, took the band around the world and earned cult classic status. It set the stage for "FLOORED" in 1997, which contained the lead single “Fly,” featuring Super Cat, and made Sugar Ray a household name.

Smash Mouth broke onto the airwaves with the groovy "Walkin' on the Sun" in 1997 and raised the bar even higher with "All Star" in 1999, which recently surpassed a mind-boggling 1 billion streams on Spotify.

Smash Mouth's stage presence springs from the band's natural all-inclusiveness. With music universally adored and an allure spanning wide, Smash Mouth commands audiences all over the world.
