Ron and Carolyn Sampert

50th Anniversary

Ron and Carolyn Sampert will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married May 25, 1974, in the Cardston Alberta Temple in Canada.

Ron and Carolyn lived in Coeur d'Alene for the first four years of marriage before moving to Dalton Gardens. Ron and Carolyn are natives of the Coeur d'Alene area.

Ron retired from Kootenai Country Fire and Rescue after 38 years of service. Carolyn is a homemaker and loves entering things in the North Idaho State Fair.

The couple have four children, Jared and (Amy) of Rathdrum, Idaho; Bob and (Cathy) of Lacey, Wash.; Jennifer and (Jappy) of Boise, Idaho; and Ronald J. Jr. of Anaheim, Calif. They have 10 grandkids, Mady, Brooklyn, Kai, Jaiden, Jay, Johnny, Jet, Paxton, Hailey and Hope.

To celebrate their 50th anniversary, the couple are taking their adult children on an Alaska cruise.
